Passive Housing
We are registered with Passive Housing Canada
Not only do we work hand in hand with consultants and stalwarts of this concept, but also with core passive housing registered trades, like:
• Mechanical | • Electrical | • Framing | • Roofing |
• Envelope | • HVAC | • Sprinkler |
• Mechanical
• Electrical
• Framing
• Roofing
• Envelope
• HVAC
• Sprinkler
This synergy, teamwork, and stewardship position us to serve our clients better and with a lot of knowledge.
We are proud to announce that all of these trades are certified for Passive House construction, specifically for multi-family home renovation projects in Vancouver. This is an exciting and pivotal juncture in the Taranis Construction portfolio because it allows us to take one more step toward sustainability and good environmental stewardship.
Added Certification
As expert custom home builders for Vancouver residential projects, we are always seeking out new ways to expand our services in order to serve both new and returning clients better. This is why we are so excited to announce that Taranis Construction is now registered with Passive House Canada.
Passive House is one of the most rigorous voluntary certifications that we can obtain, and it means that we are now able to offer Vancouver options that will allow multi-family buildings to consume up to 90 percent less energy.
This capability is a massive boon for us, and we are incredibly proud to be able to add Passive House certification to our extensive portfolio of sustainable building measures.
According to Passive House Canada, these building standards can be applied to almost any type of commercial or residential building, and we are thrilled to have a certification that is internationally recognized for being science-based and backed by research.
Current Projects
We are currently working on two large-scale, mixed-use Passive House projects. Our team of consultants is working closely with designers to create the initial vision for the projects, and we are greatly looking forward to breaking ground on these projects by the end of the year.
